UBC 2025 Trek Excellence Scholarship for Undergraduate Students

Applications are now open for the UBC 2025 Trek Excellence Scholarship for Undergraduate Students. The Trek Excellence Scholarship offers $1,500 awards to domestic students in the top 5% in their undergraduate year, faculty, and school.

Rankings are based on a student’s top 24 percentage-graded credits, as per Senate award regulations.

Requirements

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must meet all the requirements below:

• You must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada.
• You must be registered in at least 24 percentage-graded credits in your previous winter session. If you’re registered in more than 24 percentage-graded credits, your average will be based on your top 24 credits.
• You must be continuing in the same faculty or school in your current winter session.

Interview Dates and Process

To keep your scholarship, you must meet all the requirements below:

• You must be registered in 24 percentage-graded credits in your current winter session.
• You must be continuing in the same faculty and school.

Application Deadline

How To Apply

You do not need to submit an application for this scholarship.

Students are automatically considered based on their grades from the prior Winter session. Recipients will be notified from late-August to mid-October.
