UFV MOLA French Immersion Annual Entrance Scholarship

This Entrance Scholarship is for a student who is pursuing a minor or major in French. Preference is for a high school graduate from WJ Mouat Secondary, Ecole Cheam Elementary, or Ecole la Verendrye Chilliwack.

The prize valuation for each MOLA French Immersion Annual Entrance Scholarship - Amount: 10 @ $1,000 each

Requirements

1. The applicant must be planning to attend UFV as a full-time student (9 post-secondary credits or more per semester) in the academic year immediately following their Grade 12 graduation.
2. The applicant must have already submitted an application for admission to UFV.
3. The applicant must have a high academic standing in Grade 12 academic courses (the minimum requirement is a B average or 3.0 GPA).
4. The applicant must meet all entrance requirements and prerequisites for the UFV program that they have applied to.
5. The applicant must be able to demonstrate a high level of leadership, determination, and effort.  They should also have made significant contributions to school life and have participated actively in the community.

How To Apply

There are 3 ways to submit your application. Your COMPLETE application package may be:

1. Scanned and emailed to [email protected]. (Only PDF attachments will be accepted – photos (jpeg, png) and links to shared drives will not be considered). Please do not send multiple emails. Your application package should be complete in a single email.
2. Mailed in original form to:

1. Dropped off at the Abbotsford or Chilliwack campus Financial Aid & Awards offices during regular business hours. For after hours, there is a secure drop slot at our Abbotsford office located just past the Student Services doors (B214).
