The Indigenous Careers Award, funded by the Government of Alberta, supports Indigenous students enrolled full-time in undergraduate or professional programs at the University of Calgary. It is aimed at promoting academic success and career development among Indigenous learners.
$4,000 for full-time enrollment in both Fall and Winter terms
$2,000 for full-time enrollment in Fall OR Winter term only
Variable number of awards available
Must be a Canadian Indigenous student
Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident and an Alberta resident
Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or professional program
Must be in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of studies
Must be enrolled full-time (minimum 12.00 units over Fall and Winter)
Students with a documented permanent disability who meet course load requirements will also be considered
Proof of Indigenous Identity
Additional documents as may be required by the Registrar
