The Barrett Family Scholarships in Sustainable Food Engineering were established by a generous gift from The Barrett Family Foundation to train the next generation of leaders and skilled researchers in sustainable food engineering. The Foundation was founded in 1986 by Bob and Francine Barrett and has grown to support programs in education, the environment, humanitarian causes, health, and the arts
2 awards of $80,000 ($20,000/year payable over 4 years of doctoral study) Plus up to an additional $3,300 to support travel.
