Benefits

2 awards of $80,000 ($20,000/year payable over 4 years of doctoral study) Plus up to an additional $3,300 to support travel.

Requirements

  • This may include improving packaging, productivity and quality, increasing processing efficiencies, prolonging shelf life, reducing waste, or developing greener technologies.
  • Selection will be based on the strongest research potential and outstanding academic achievement.
  • Students must have applied for admission to a doctoral program in the School of Engineering for the Summer semester or the upcoming Fall or Winter semesters

 Apply by August 1st to the School of Engineering Awards Committee [email protected] with a research proposal outline (2 pages maximum), 2 letters of reference, and a CV. Students must identify research interests in Sustainable Food Engineering
