The Class of OAC ’59 Experiential Learning Travel Grant was established by the OAC Alumni Foundation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Class of 1959. This grant supports students in the Ontario Agricultural College (OAC) at the University of Guelph who are participating in educational travel experiences such as conferences, seminars, tradeshows, field trips, or semesters abroad. With several awards totaling up to $20,000, this opportunity helps cover travel costs and enhances academic and professional development. Applications are accepted three times a year, depending on travel dates.

To be eligible for the Class of OAC ’59 Experiential Learning Travel Grant, applicants must:
Be registered in an Ontario Agricultural College (OAC) program at the University of Guelph
Be approved for travel related to experiential learning, including conferences, seminars, tradeshows, course field trips, semesters abroad, etc.
Have travel planned within six months before or after the application deadline
Be either a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or international student
Selection is based on the relevance of the travel to the student’s program of study and the anticipated academic or professional benefits.
