The Walter and Laura Scott Horticulture Scholarship is a prestigious award established in memory of Walter and Laura Scott, who had a lifelong interest in tree fruit production in Ontario. Administered by the University of Guelph's Ontario Agricultural College (OAC), this scholarship supports graduate students pursuing studies in horticulture, with a focus on tree fruit science.
1 award of $20,000 payable over 3 semesters
Selection will be based on academic achievement and quality of graduate research project proposal in the area of Horticulture. Preference will be given to entering M.Sc. or Ph.D. students studying tree fruit science.
Students registered full-time in a program offered by the Department of Plant Agriculture with a minimum average of 75% over the previous two years of study and who are pursuing or planning to pursue studies in the area of Horticulture.
