The University of Laval Actuarial Science Chair Scholarship 2024 -2025 is open for application to interested Master and PhD applicants. The scholarship is am to support students undertaking master's studies with essay or dissertation and doctoral studies in actuarial science at the Faculty of Science and Engineering of Université Laval.

1 scholarship of $10,000 (Florent Toureille Doctoral Attraction Scholarship; annual scholarship of $10,000 renewable for 3 years if the renewal criteria are met)
Requirements
- Have Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status or a valid study permit.
- Have submitted an application for admission to a 3rd cycle program in actuarial science at Université Laval, for the fall 2024 session .
- Be registered full-time (12 credits or more), or be " deemed full-time " at the time the scholarship is awarded
Renewal criteria:
- Preparatory schooling should be done as a priority if necessary;
- With regard to the Florent Toureille doctoral attraction scholarship, the cumulative average must be 3 or more, and the predoctoral exams must be passed during the 2nd year .
Selection criteria
- Excellence of academic record;
- Candidate's aptitude for research and innovation.
