The scholarship is designed to support students undertaking master's studies with essay or dissertation and doctoral studies in actuarial science at the Faculty of Science and Engineering of Université Laval.

Benefits
- 3 scholarships of $9,000 (Master’s attraction scholarship; annual scholarships of $9,000 renewable for 2 years if the renewal criteria are met.)
- 1 scholarship of $12,500 (Florent Toureille Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship; Annual scholarship of $12,500 renewable for 3 years if the renewal criteria are met)
- 2 scholarships of $12,000 (Master’s recruitment scholarship (increased tuition fees); for one year, the scholarships are non-renewable.)
Requirements
- Have Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status or a valid study permit.
- Have submitted an application for admission to a 2nd or 3rd cycle program in actuarial science at Université Laval, for the Winter 2025 or Fall 2025 sessions.
- Be registered full-time (12 credits or more), or be " deemed full-time " at the time the scholarship is awarded
Interview Dates and Process
Renewal criteria:
- Preparatory schooling must be done as a priority if necessary, the cumulative average must be 2.67 and above for the master's degree with essay and 3 and above for the master's degree with dissertation.
- With regard to the Florent Toureille doctoral attraction scholarship, the cumulative average must be 3 or more, and the predoctoral exams must be passed during the 2nd year .
