The Dr. Mark Cohen Scholarship aims to financially support a graduating first-cycle medical student admitted to the (post-MD) ophthalmology residency program at a Canadian university. This scholarship will be awarded to the student with the best academic record, as evaluated by the admissions committee of the ophthalmology program of the Faculty of Medicine of Laval University.

Requirements

Eligibility criteria

The scholarship holder must:

• Hold Canadian citizenship and be a resident of Quebec for at least ten (10) consecutive years;
• Master French, both spoken and written;
• Be enrolled full-time in the ophthalmology residency program.
