Benefits

1 scholarship of $25,000 (A scholarship of $25,000 divided into five installments at the beginning of each of the first five fall or winter sessions during which the scholarship recipient will be registered full-time, starting with the fall 2025 session. The scholarship may be combined with scholarships from other sources.)

Requirements

• Admission in fall 2025 to one of the targeted programs offered at Université Laval;
• Full-time registration (12 credits) at the time of receiving the scholarship (for the first 5 sessions of the program), or have this status recognized by Financial Aid for Studies;
• If part-time registration (6 to 11 credits), persons recognized as student parents under the terms of the Policy on Student Parents of Université Laval may be eligible for this competition. To this end, it is your responsibility to provide us with the certificate issued by the Registrar's Office by sending it to the following address: [email protected] . Allow 7 business days to obtain this document;
• Present a doctoral thesis project on a question relating to one of the research areas of the Chair on the new challenges of economic globalization;
• Have an excellent academic record at the second cycle or master's level;
• Demonstrate a strong interest or relevant experience associated with the research areas of the Chair;
• Receive support from your research director at the second cycle or master's level;
• Be directed or co-directed by the Chair holder.

The application file must include:

• A cover letter of five pages maximum including a description of the research project clearly demonstrating the links between the project and the research axes of the Chair;
• A letter of support from the master's research director, sent separately by the person concerned to one of the email addresses mentioned below;
• All university transcripts, including the most recent;
• The list of sources of funding considered for doctoral studies;
• An up-to-date CV. 

Complete applications must be submitted no later than March 3  , 2025 , at 11:59 p.m.
