Aim and Benefits of University of Laval Leadership and Engagement Scholarship
- Several $6,000 scholarships (1st cycle: Payment of $1,000 per session, up to 6 or 8 sessions. Depending on the official duration of the 3 or 4 year program, $6,000 or $8,000.)
- Several $10,000 scholarships (2nd cycle: Payment of $2,500 per session, up to 4 sessions.)
- Several $30,000 scholarships (3rd cycle: Payment of $5,000 per session, up to 6 sessions.)
Requirements for University of Laval Leadership and Engagement Scholarship Qualification
- At the time of submitting the application, have submitted a new application for admission to a regular 1st, 2nd or 3rd cycle study program (bachelor's, master's or doctorate) at Université Laval for the summer 2025 or fall 2025 session .
- Be exceptionally involved and stand out through your leadership in one or more artistic, entrepreneurial, environmental, scientific, social/humanitarian or sporting activities. *
- Maintain full-time student status ** (or be deemed full-time according to Student Financial Aid ) at Université Laval throughout the study program for which the scholarship was awarded (fall and winter sessions).

Selection criteria
- Leadership: leadership qualities, initiative, perseverance, research potential (scientific), motivation within one's group, sense of responsibility and commitment, inspiring role model for one's peers, etc.
- Commitment and involvement: voluntary activities, time given to an organization/project/association, recent, long-term and/or recurring commitment, enthusiasm, potential to continue the commitment, etc.
