University of Laval Michel G. Bergeron Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship 2024

A scholarship is offered to a doctoral student (Ph.D.) with a research project in the field of microbiology-immunology. This program aims to recruit a new graduate student from the Faculty of Medicine and to help professor-researchers in the Department of Microbiology, Infectiology and Immunology to welcome more students in order to improve the performance of their laboratory.

1 scholarship of $10,000 will be awarded to recipient of  Michel G. Bergeron Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship 

Requirements

Student candidate:

• Be admitted [1] or have submitted an application for admission for the first time in winter 2024, summer 2024 or fall 2024 in a 3rd cycle program of the Faculty of Medicine of Université Laval, with the obtaining of a master's degree or the equivalent;
• The research work must be related to the field of microbiology-immunology
• Not to benefit from any nominative scholarship of more than $15,000. However, the student agrees to apply for scholarships from other organizations;
• Scholarships are not transferable to another program, faculty, university or candidate.

[1] Admission may be final or conditional.
