This scholarship is intended for a student newly admitted to the Master's degree in law with a dissertation or essay and whose research topic is in civil law and who stands out for the quality of their academic record upon admission.

1 scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded to the recipient of the award
Requirements
- New admission to the Master of Laws in winter or fall 2024;
- Full-time registration (12 credits) at the time of receiving the scholarship (fall 2024), or have recognition of this status according to Financial Aid for Studies.
- If part-time registration (6 to 11 credits), persons recognized as student parents under the terms of the Policy on Student Parents of Université Laval may be eligible for this competition. To this end, it is your responsibility to provide us with the certificate issued by the Registrar's Office by sending it to the following address: [email protected] . Allow 7 business days to obtain this document;
- Complete a master's degree in law with a dissertation or essay in the field of civil law;
- Have an excellent academic record upon admission.

The application file must contain:
- A letter of approximately two pages maximum on the subject of the dissertation or essay, its interest as well as the summary schedule of the work;
- The final transcript of grades upon graduation from the previous cycle of study;
- A resume;
- The list of funding sources already obtained during the last school year.
Your application must be submitted no later than October 6, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
Any incomplete file or file received after the period indicated as the deadline will be rejected.
