Requirements

• Funds must facilitate impact for people in the community
• The applicant must be affiliated with one of the Branch Out's partnering universities:
  • University of Alberta
  • University of Calgary
  • University of Lethbridge
  • University of Northern BC
  • University of Toronto
  • University of Saskatchewan
  • University of Victoria
  • McEwan University
  • Mt Royal University
• NeuroCAM research must be a component of the project
• Funds cannot be used for research costs
• It is recommended to have a community partner as a mentor for the project
• The budget must be reasonable and cost-saving measures will improve competitiveness
• Projects selected for funding will have to do a consultation with Branch Out to promote project success
• Funded grants should acknowledge Branch Out as a sponsor of the initiative
• In the case we can't fund an application in the quarter it is received, we will keep it on file for up to one year for future consideration
