Be a Registered Student
Enrolled full-time in a research-based master’s or doctoral program at the University of Lethbridge.
Be Presenting Your Research
Must be presenting your thesis or project work at a national or international conference, either as a poster or oral presentation.
Be at the Appropriate Stage of Study
Master’s students: Priority given to those in their second year.
Doctoral students: Priority given to those in their third or fourth year.
Apply Before the Conference
You must apply for the award and receive notification of approval before attending the conference and before submitting any expenses.
Have Not Received the Award Before
You can only receive the Dissemination Travel Award once per degree program.
Provide Confirmation of Acceptance
Must provide proof that your presentation has been accepted by the conference organizers.
Post-Award Requirement
After attending the conference, you must complete the post-acceptance application and provide proof of attendance to receive the funds.
