University of Lethbridge Faculty Association Academic Award 2024

Students who are the spouse, common-law partner, child, or step-child of a dues-paying statutory member of the University of Lethbridge Faculty Association (ULFA) or were the dependent of a legal guardian and Statutory Member of the University of Lethbridge Faculty Association (ULFA) at the time of that Member’s death. Students must be enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution (universities, colleges, or technical institutes). Children whose parents are both ULFA members can receive this award twice (via one application)

Benefits

Minimum equivalent to tuition for one 3.0-credit uLethbridge course

Requirements

Applicants must have completed one of the following:

• 10 semester courses (or equivalent) of a baccalaureate program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.70 (or equivalent).
• 20 semester courses in a program that began at a college and transferred to a baccalaureate program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.70 (or equivalent).
• First year of any trade apprenticeship. Must provide proof of final exam grade from Alberta and Industry Training, which must be no less than 83%.
• No student may receive this award more than twice.
