Students must be enrolled in an independent study or honors thesis engaged in oral history research supervised by a U of L faculty member. The proposal will be evaluated based on the applicant’s research, scholarly and creative achievements, and the Supervisor’s ability to provide adequate supervision of the project.
The successful applicant of Karen Reid and Jim Hill Oral History Award 2024 will be awarded with the financial package of $1,000
Academic achievement will be assessed, and upper-year standing will be prioritized.
Applicants must submit a proposal describing their project to the Centre for Oral History – including a one-page (max) letter from the student and a one-page max letter from the supervising faculty member for the independent study or honours thesis.
