These Scholarships are offered to full-time students based on academic achievement and course load and usually require that the recipient re-register at the University of Manitoba for the subsequent year. In most cases, students must register for and complete at least 80 per cent of a full course load per term (i.e. a minimum of 24 credit hours during the fall/winter terms), unless otherwise specified in the terms of the scholarship by the donor (or a representative of the donor).

One scholarship is available for a full-time graduate student enrolled in either the Master of City Planning program or the Master of Public Administration program and one scholarship is available for an undergraduate student in their third or fourth year of studies in one of the following areas of study: City Planning, Political Studies, Sociology, or Human Resource Management/Industrial Relations. Harland Family Award
For a full time female undergraduate or graduate student who participates in rugby in the Province of Manitoba and who is enrolled in any faculty, college, or school at the University of Manitoba.
Jeff Kushner and Randall McGinnis Scholarship
This scholarship will be offered to an LGBT undergraduate student who is enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Manitoba; has completed a minimum of 36 credit hours of study; has a minimum degree grade point average of 3.0; and has demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on community service. If there are no applicants in the Faculty of Engineering, the scholarship may be offered to a student in Geology, Computer Science or Medicine, who otherwise meets the award criteria.The application is available each year in early August through Aurora Classic.

One scholarship for a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in any faculty or school who is conducting or has proposed to conduct research relating to gay and lesbian people, their community, values, achievements, art or sports or human rights issues.The application is available each year in early August through Aurora Classic.
