University of Prince Edward Island 2024 Mary Ellen MacDonald Memorial Award

The Mary Ellen MacDonald Memorial Award was established in 1941 from the will of Ms. Mary Ellen MacDonald, of New York City, and formerly of Pisquid, PEI. This scholarship is to be awarded to a student entering senior year at university, and who has during the previous years of university, given evidence of outstanding academic achievement and student leadership in the university community.

Requirements

Applicants for this scholarship must meet the following criteria:

• Candidates must have completed three years of university and be entering senior year.
• Candidates must have achieved high academic standing and provide university transcript.
• Candidates should provide evidence of student leadership in their university community.
• Candidates must be Roman Catholics.
• Successful candidates may not hold other grants, scholarships or bursaries totalling in excess of $5,000.00
