The scholarship provides a monetary award of $5,300. This directly helps offset the cost of tuition and fees for the Executive MBA program.
Requirements
- Program Application: Candidates must have applied for admission to the Executive MBA Program at UPEI.
- Application Deadline: The application for the Executive MBA Program must be submitted by June 30 of the year they intend to start the program.
- Program Start Date: Candidates must intend to begin the Executive MBA program in September of the same year.
- Financial Support Cap: Candidates are not eligible for this scholarship if they are receiving financial support from an employer and/or other graduate student awards that, when combined, exceed 50% of the program's total tuition and fees.
Interview Dates and Process
Scholarships will be awarded to applicants based on the following criteria:
- Academic record
- Professional accomplishments
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Potential interview (if deemed necessary by the committee)

- Apply for admission to the Executive MBA Program by June 30th. This is the primary and essential step, as applying to the EMBA program automatically puts you into consideration for the scholarship.
- Ensure your EMBA application includes:
- Your resume

- Within your personal statement, specifically address the scholarship's selection criteria:
- Academic record
- Professional accomplishments
- Demonstrated leadership ability
