This annual scholarship is established by the Lovering Family to encourage post-graduate study in the sciences at the University of Prince Edward Island.
$3,600.00 will be awarded to successful recipient of the Janet Lovering Graduate Scholarship for Science 2024
The Janet Lovering Graduate Scholarship in Science will be for a full-time student entering the first year of the Master of Science program in the Faculty of Science. Preference will be given to a student in the Department of Physics. The successful candidate will have an undergraduate record of distinction and evidence of research during the undergraduate degree level (e.g. Honours, NSERC research or research courses.) The award will be renewable for one year based on maintaining academic performance consistent with the student’s undergraduate record, and achievement of research objectives established in consultation with and approved by the student’s faculty supervisor at the beginning of the academic year.
