The Chancellor’s Scholarship is awarded annually to 14 undergraduate students who meet specific criteria, including a minimum admission average of 95%. This scholarship is available to students entering directly from high school or high school graduates who have not completed any post-secondary courses (other than those completed while still in high school, such as the High School Accelerated Program).
Recipients will receive $10,000 per year for up to four years, plus on-campus housing for their first year. The total value of each scholarship is over $46,000. One award is reserved for Indigenous applicants, and one for out-of-province applicants.
In addition to the funding, recipients will receive the following benefits:
Maximum of 14 awards for domestic students (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person).
Minimum admission average of 95% to an undergraduate degree program.
Entering directly from high school, or as a high school graduate who has not completed any post-secondary courses (other than those completed while the student was still in high school, such as in the High School Accelerated program).
The External Student Awards Adjudication Committee may require additional documentation or verification of submitted documents.

Selected recipients of the Chancellor’s Scholarships will be required to participate in Chancellor Scholarship programming and recruitment initiatives, as well as agree to be featured in University of Regina promotional campaigns.
Scholarship Renewal Eligibility: The scholarship is renewable for an additional three years. To be eligible for the renewal, students must achieve a minimum sessional GPA of 80% (prior academic year of May 1-April 30) and complete a minimum of 18 credit hours during this same time period (students with permanent disabilities must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours).
Housing Funding: In their first year of receipt of the scholarship, recipients will be offered the full cost of Housing Rental Fees exclusive of meal plans and tenant insurance, within U of R owned and operated Housing (K?šik Towers, Paskw?w and Wakpá Towers, La Résidence, and College West).
