The Dan Perrins Public Policy Award was established in 2020 to support a graduate student in the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at either the University of Regina or University of Saskatchewan, who has demonstrated academic excellence and community involvement.

Requirements

The award will be presented to a University of Regina or University of Saskatchewan graduate student who meets the following criteria:
- Enrolled in the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy;
- Achieved a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 80%;
- Students must provide a written statement (up to 250 words) describing their community involvement;
- Student is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident; and
- Preference will be given to students who self-identify as Indigenous.
