Awarded to a student entering the BSc Nutrition and Food Science degree program in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta from high school. Recipient will be selected on the basis of Admission average (~95% or above). Receipt of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a minimum 24 credits over the most recent September to April period in the Nutrition and Food Science degree program in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life, and Environmental Sciences.

Requirements
- High school applicants entering directly from high school must complete the General Application and the Entrance Scholarship Application. Annually, this application is open from October 1 until mid-January.
- Current students and students at the end of their degree program, as well as those entering a professional program, an after-degree program or applying to transfer from another post-secondary institution must complete the General Application, Additional Information Application and their faculty specific application. Annually, this application is open from late January until March 31.
