The University of Saskatchewan Margaret MacKay Scholarship is open for application to recognize achievement and encourage female students to pursue undergraduate and/or graduate studies in the area of entomology within the Department of Biology.

Requirements for University of Saskatchewan Margaret MacKay Scholarship Qualification

  • To recognize academic achievement and encourage female students to pursue undergraduate and/or graduate studies in the area of entomology within the Department of Biology.
  • Currently open to female students pursuing graduate studies who are or will be conducting research in the area of entomology as determined by the Awards Committee.


Documents Required for Application

Applications should include each of the following items:

  • A detailed statement that describes the thesis proposal and current research progress, and how the Scholarship will advance one’s graduate and scientific career;
  • A copy of academic transcripts; and
  • Any other supporting materials e.g., scholarships and awards received, refereed publications and conference presentations, where applicable.
