University of Toronto MIE Endowed Fellowships
Aim and Benefits of University of Toronto MIE Endowed Fellowships
- A number of bursaries are available to MIE MASc and PhD students who are in financial need. Bursary amount: $500 to $3,000
- Students must be in good academic standing with minimum grade average of A-; satisfactory research progress.
- Request for extenuating circumstances to be taken into consideration for bursaries should be indicated in the application – please provide a brief description of the circumstances.
Note: Students may not hold the same endowed fellowship awarded in previous year
Requirements for University of Toronto MIE Endowed Fellowships Qualification
- Students must be within their funded cohort, such as:
- MASc students within the first two years of study;
- MASc students who have transferred from the MEng program within the first two years of study from initial registration of the MEng program;
- PhD students within the first four years; direct-entry PhD within the first five years of study;
- Fast-track PhD students within the first five years from initial registration in the Master's program.
- Students must be in good academic standing with minimum grade average of A-
- Satisfactory research progress; for PhD students, their annual committee meetings must be on schedule
- Demonstrate financial need
- Students must be registered in the program for both Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 sessions
