WIBCA Scholarship Awards are dedicated to supporting and promoting the achievement and academic excellence of Black students. It is also important to support Indigenous students and other students of color who have shown a commitment and dedication to supporting the Black community.

Benefits
At least three (3) awards will be given to eligible students as follows:
- One student in his/her/their final year of High School and who has gained admission to CEGEP.
- One student in or newly admitted to CEGEP or gained admission to University.
- One student in or newly admitted to Vocational or Adult Education.
The financial package will be communicated to the selected recipient of the award
Requirements
To be eligible for these awards, students must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and a bona fide resident of the Greater Montreal Area.
Application Documents
- Your Curriculum Vitae
- Transcripts of the current and last completed academic year.
- A letter of at least two (2) pages outlining why you feel that you meet the selection criteria for this scholarship and how the award will help you.
- Proof of admission to a higher institution.
- Two (2) letters of reference and preferably, one from your teacher
All documents must be typed.
