An award is provided annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year One who has a minimum overall average of 80%, has a demonstrated financial need, and is an Ontario resident. To be considered, students must apply for the University of Waterloo Entrance Bursary. This fund is made possible by a donation from Mr. George Gibbons who believes that his investment in talented, Waterloo-educated students, will have far-reaching benefits for Canada at home and abroad.
