In his memory, the SDU Board of Governors awards an annual award of $1,000 to an eligible student, who achieves above average academic performance and who participates in athletic program(s) at the varsity or club level at UPEI.

Requirements

Applicants for this award must meet the following criteria:

• Be a Roman Catholic
• Be registered as a full-time student at the University of PEI entering 3rd or 4th year
• Have a permanent home address on Prince Edward Island
• Achieve above average academic performance
• Participate in athletic program[s] at the varsity or club level at UPEI
• Not be in receipt of other bursaries and scholarships totalling in excess of $5,000
